The Scottish Reed Trio was formed at the beginning of 2008 delivering its

debut recital in September 2008 for Westbourne Music.

The trio met whilst studying at the RSAMD and since graduating have spent many years working as orchestral musicians with Scotland's major orchestras and music educators coming together to form this exciting new ensemble out of a shared enjoyment of chamber music. The members have appeared extensively throughout the UK, Europe and North America in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Barbican and Concertgebouw and have performed live broadcasts on BBC television and radio.

The Scottish Reed Trio is dedicated to delivering high quality, inspirational concerts and developing new and diverse audiences for live music through exciting presentation, innovative programming and education work.

The Trio's repertoire is also well suited for background and ceremonial music ideal for weddings and other functions.
